Imagine A Life Without Fear…
Life without fear… Imagine the feeling of living in total trust and faith, never doubting that only the best will ultimately come to you and those you love. Could you trust that the Universe unfolds, always, in perfect and divine order? This is surrendering our fear and allowing the virtue of TRUST to settle into our life and our bodies. It is a peaceful, loving feeling. Allowing.
Such a life is possible, although it won’t happen without intention and devotion to one’s purpose. Most of us have lived life rooted in fear. We fear not having what we need: love, safety, money, friends, a job, success, status, knowledge. Most of the decisions people make are based in fear. The problem with using fear as our foundation is that fear has no substance and can’t hold us up like we hope it will. A life lived in fear is a barren one.
Life is always changing. WE are always changing. Even the Earth is always changing. Can we allow the change? Can we allow the Universe to continue it’s inevitable unfolding process, ever so gently (..and sometimes not so gently!). Can we trust the Divine Creation of All That Is, in it’s full magnificence to continue to do it’s purpose? This is a deeper form of trust. When we have fear, doubts, worry, anxiety, we are lacking trust in something greater – our OWN Creator! We are essential parts of this Divine Creation, and we weren’t created by mistake or with flaws. We only perceive flaws and problems. We create challenges in order to learn, stretch our awareness, understand the capacity of our abilities, and expand further!
The physical manifestation of fear shows up as stress and weakens the adrenals over time. WE want to be in control…at ALL times! Do we not? When things are not going the way we think they should go, we get anxious and stressed. What if you could relax and trust that something greater may be unfolding? There might be other possibilities other than the ones we were thinking. Why limit the UNLIMITED Universe with all of it’s potential and wisdom?
Underneath all stress is a belief in difficulty! Yes, when we think things might be difficult, or that perhaps we can’t handle something, we go into fear and stress about it. What if we believed that we are provided with everything we need – always…that we have access to the wisdom, the power, the resources, the intelligence, and even the abundance of everything we could possible need? What if we could realize that WE are powerful creators in our own right?
We are not victims, ever. We only may have a misperception that we are. Change your perception and everything shifts!
This beautiful planet lovingly provides EVERYTHING we could possibly need to live, grow, heal, and prosper. If it didn’t, we wouldn’t be able to live here. Relax, trust the process. Have you ever noticed that there is no such thing as LACK? It is a mis-perception, a concept that we have made up! It does not even exist. So when we think we don’t have enough, we will push things away to try to show that as real. But ‘nature abhors a vacuum’. Have you heard that saying? Yes, it will fill in the gaps that we create. That’s how it works.
What matters most is that we live from our center. What matters is that we have done our internal work and cleansing and that we have an intimate relationship with the Divine, whatever form that make take for us. If we are relatively clear, and if we are in touch with the Divine Essence of life, what is there to fear? We will be in the right place at the right time, and if that is in the middle of a disaster, so be it. Some people are accustomed to having a lot of drama in their lives. They might be unhappy or bored if they experienced an overwhelming sense of peace. Life lived on the edge with lots of chaos, and uncertainty makes them feel alive and real. It can even motivate us to stretch our edges, our limits, push to learn more of our true potential. But when all is said and done, can we relax and trust, even marvel, at the process?
There is a way to live without fear. That way is found during times of meditation, prayer, affirmations, inspiration and awareness. When we focus our thoughts and energies on the divinity in life and begin to feel its omnipresence, fear vanishes. When we truly know and feel that everything, including us, is an expression of God/dess in form, what is there to be afraid of?
This is the importance of quieting the busy mind, using meditations, affirmations and prayer to still ourselves.
Instead of spending your time and energy focusing on the maybes of life, start focusing your attention on the here and now. Who are you to become today? What are you to do? Right now… How can you contribute to the planetary peace within your own life today? Have you set aside time to turn within, become centered, and have a personal experience of the divine? Are there people or situations you need to release in order to move forward with your life? Are there some things, conditions or beliefs that you can let go of that are limiting you? What can you create today which would alleviate suffering and bring joy to you or someone else?
Befriend your fears by spending time with them, finding what they want to tell you or teach you. Most fears only need to be acknowledged in order to loosen their grip. Bring them into your conscious awareness. This is where you have the power to change them. Fears do not need to rule one’s life, where it needs to be given supreme dominion some folks want to bestow upon it.
If you fear disaster, if you fear poverty, if you fear death, the best action you can take is to begin to live your life to the fullest, being PRESENT to every moment. Pretty much all of our fears are conceptions in the mind that aren’t even existing at the moment! Stop and look around. Are you in immediate danger? Are you starving to death? Are you about to be attacked? Our instincts will keep us safe. But our fears will bind us, limit us. Break free of these mis-conceptions. Ask yourself, as Byron Katie suggests, ‘Is this absolutely true?’ ‘What would I be without this thought?’ These are powerful statements to utilize!
So live in the present with conscious intent to love and honor everyone and everything around us, as well as love and honor ourselves. Such a life would be one of joy, peace, and health! No matter what happens in the outer world, can you think of a better way to live? Enjoy!

Choosing Abundance vs Lack when Imagining A Life Without Fear… Yes, it is a chosen lens of perception, like putting on a pair of yellow sunglasses where everything shows up yellow. And their are also cultural systems, like our money system, that are skewed to create this lack for the many (limiting abundance for the few), as long as we, as a culture, choose to use this system. We can also recreate a different system very easily in our own back yard within our relationships to those around us.
